About Us
The Nursery
From the Baby Room to the Pre-School Room the décor and furniture are all co-ordinated. The furniture including sand and water trays, cots, chairs and tables are made from beech and even the tricycles are of good quality workmanship, interestingly made by the Amish Community in America.
As you can appreciate this co-ordinated effect adds towards a very calming ambience.
All meals and snacks provided are balanced and freshly made with fresh wholesome, nutritious produce locally sourced. 5 portions of fruit/vegetables are included in meals offered. There is a vegetarian alternative to every meal to ensure individual needs are met.
Our Music and Sensory Room offers a multitude of exciting visual and tactile experiences for all children and plays an important role in providing stimulus for children who may need specialised input in this area. Jo Jingles visits the nursery every Wednesday to entertain the children and they thoroughly enjoy this, waiting in anticipation for the show/activities to begin. This is sheer delight to be part of and staff are as excited as the children.
